Since a very young age I have been passionate about reptiles and amphibians so it was a logical step to become a reptile ecologist. I have travelled globally to photograph and study reptiles. Back in the Midlands I have monitored reptile populations on various sites for years especially the adder, building up a photographic database of individuals.
Over the last few years I have filmed the species for BBC One, ITV and recorded for BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Hereford & Worcester.
I have been awarded an Earthwatch Scholarship to study global warming in Australia and its impact on the indigenous wildlife.
I have co-authored the Amphibians and Reptiles of Herefordshire in 2006 see www.herefordhart.org
I am an active committee member of Herefordshire Amphibian & Reptile Team, and reptile and amphibian recorder for the region.
